The Viking Malt plant located in Halmstad invested a while ago in a new modern bagging station for pallets. For our customers taking bags on pallets there are some changes to notice.
Our standard pallet size used to be 600 kg, now it is 1000 kg. We have changed bag material from brown paper bag to modern looking recyclable plastic bag with Viking Malt logo and colors. New bagging material has better resistance against tears and external moisture.
Readymade malt pallets with 25 kg bags are wrapped, delivered and stored at an external warehouse. From this warehouse we can flexibly deliver malts according to customer’s orders. In case of full truck orders, malts are delivered directly from Viking Malt Halmstad plant.
One must state though that there is one thing that has not changed: the good Viking Malt quality. The malts inside new bags and pallets show the quality parameters you are used to.
